Kes Michaelides is a passionate traveler and seasoned vacation property manager with over 20 years of expertise in the short- and medium-term rental industry. Having stayed at more than 250 rental properties worldwide, Kes has a unique perspective on what makes a rental experience exceptional.
He launched his career by marketing luxury villas and holiday homes with LaCure, long before Airbnb revolutionized the industry. As a respected figure in the rental space, Kes was instrumental in shaping Airbnb’s early Superhost program, using his deep knowledge to set industry standards that still guide hosts today.
During his tenure as a community support specialist at Airbnb, Kes personally assisted hundreds of property owners across the globe, helping them create thriving rental businesses.
Beyond his role with Airbnb, Kes has been a driving force behind the development of critical services for the short-term rental market, including property management systems (PMS) for streamlined operations, pricing algorithms for optimized revenue, and unified inbox solutions to manage bookings across multiple platforms efficiently.
